Hi….I’m Beth, a blogger. To be honest I hate writing about me but it is a necessity in this new media. I am a Navy wife, hence my blog about and for Navy spouses. But any military wife will tell you we are more than the spouse of our service member…

I am a musician, vocalist and hold a a master’s degree in Education, a B.S. in Political Science. I enjoy working out (but have been slacking of late), cooking (I am the queen of sugar-free baking), reading, blogging and most of all, spending time (although there is far too little) with my wonderful husband.

 We are an infertile couple but are enjoying life together. We have filled our lives with ‘furry children’ and as such are mommy and daddy to our new furry child, a cocker spaniel named Strydor.

I am a Military spouse support columnist, motivational speaker, blogger and talk-show host for Navy spouses. This life as a military spouse, a Navy spouse, is full of challenges. But there are rewards as well. I am passionate about helping us find the joys, the information and resources, the ‘best-practices’ and inspiration to live the best life as a Navy wife.

My columns are carried in the Kitsap Sun (www.kitsapsun.com) and most Navy base papers. My internet talk show is hosted on BlogTalkRadio (www.blogtalkradio.com/nht). My website is Homefront in Focus (www.homefrontinfocus.com) and my special project, Operation Honeymoon (www.operationhoneymoon.org) is one of my greatest passions.
